Kansas -3 @ Colorado (3 Units)
Providence -1.5 vs. Texas (1 Unit)
Kansas - Colorado is in a major funk right now and with the Jayhawks coming to town, it shouldn't get any easier for them. Their 2nd best player, Morandais, played perhaps his worse game ever against Richmond, scoring 1 point on 0-5 shooting. That may have a lot to do with the fact that he may become academically ineligible in a few weeks and that is a big distraction. Kansas still has the top talent in the Big 12 and they will pick it up tonight against a struggling Buffs team. Jayhawks have not looked good so far on the road but they always turn it up for conference play.
Providence - I'll be honest. Right now Texas is a middle of the pack team in the Big 12. Unpredictability at the PG position is still a lingering problem and nagging injuries to Mouton and Thomas are big concerns. Barnes is still tweaking the lineup and we now have a freshman in the starting rotation. Albeit talented, no freshman should be starting on a team returning all but one of their players from a Final Four appearance. Friars have very good guard play to go along with Gomes, who is a load inside but can also step out and knock down the 3. Texas just not clicking right now and should lose a close one in a tough road game environment.
