Have played Purdue -2.5 (pinnacle) hosting Iowa for 10 big units, this line opened @ -3.5 and Hawkeye $$ have come in all week. Home favorites that have a virgin line of -3.5 cover >75% of the time.

Purdue has an excellent defense to cover Iowa's very pedestrian offense. Iowa has been victimized via the air by good passing teams especially away from Iowa City. This is a huge game for Purdue, and their last home game this season. Purdue is 3-0 ATS last 3, and 3-1 ATS last 4 in series at home. Iowa is a different team away from home, but does have superior special teams. I look for a very inspired effort by Purdue as this game is crucial for a first tier bowl game, Boilermakers win by 14+ points.

Another angle that AR182 posted earlier in the week that is profitable is a lower ranked team favoured over a higher ranked team has been hitting at a nice rate.
Last night Miami, OH did it. Last week it was Texas and Michigan falling into this category. All winners. Auburn is another one this week. I have this play in my picks already. The Seniors go out with a big win. Good post. GL

That play is working well. But dose it not say a home team ranked lower and favored. At least that'what I always thought. And if it's that home teams last home game of season. I believe the play is even a little stronger?

Bowling green was ranked 15-20th and was getting 7 points while Miami-O was unraked(in most polls) and of course was -7
Miami wins easy
