Philly -3...under....
Nothing like a NFC East game in Nov.Just so you know these 2 teams kick ass in Nov in the cold weather.Philly is 22-5 and the Jints are 19-8.
Of course this week everything is 'Fire Fassell',etc,etc Giants lose to Atlanta[I told you guys Atlanta +11 was a great play]and look so bad.Now their backs are to the wall.This is Fassell at his best.
Philly has been winning ugly and McNabb's thumb seems to be ok.This is big let down game for Philly and a must game for NY.
But throw out all the stats and trends.ie...Giants are 2nd in NFL in offense and 3rd in passing...Philly is 27th in offense and 30th in passing.
I think this game comes down too Giants are hurting injury wise.No need to talk about OL.It's been musical chairs for weeks now.Shockley is out and although he's not Mark Bavvaro he makes defenses change their schemes.On defense Holmes might be out so a rookie is taking his spot.But at corner is where there have problems.My boy Ralphie is out.Frankie Winters is replacing him and Peterson.Their kicker Bryant has a pulled hamstring so Conway Twitty might take his place.And to make matters worse Ike Hilliard is all banged up.Tina Turner will be in Philly cheering him on.
I'm sure Philly with Taylor out has many injuries too.
But Giants are not very good anyway.Their special teams are the worst.How can anyone forget Westbrook winning this game last month.And Westbrook ran that punt back 84 yds.The Giants PR Mitchell has a total of 79 yds for the season.Unreal..."he says he is not getting any blockers."Watch him today.He runs right into 3 defenders like a magnet.
Philly is overated too.But they have been winning.A nice win at GB last week.I think w/o Shockley Philly will blitz all day and rush 4 or 5 guys.Collins is so inconsistent.He throws hard but reads backwards.Tiki is in a funk.We all love him but everyone including the Coors Twins tries to knock the ball out of his hands.Levens needs to play more esp in the Sahara Desert[red zone]where we cannot score.
