The Cardinals shut down the anemic Milwaukee bats
in last night's series opener, bringing their record
in head to head play vs. the Brewers to 7-3 (+$250).
They'll send very a tough left-hander to the mound
tonight in Jaime Garcia, who checks in with a 1.98
ERA in nine starts this year. Wily Peralta has been a
far less impressive pitcher this season (-$290, 4.55
ERA) and the Cardinals own a 55-25 mark vs. righties
(+$2495). We'll stick with the superior road team as
they try to make it two in a row at Miller Park.
