old school..thank you for don henley...my freshman yr we went one nite off campus to this little place.. a group called shiloh was playing..we sat at two tables from the stage..these guys were pretty good...liked there music.Lead singer was Don Henley and Glen Frey....the band left North Texas and 2 yrs later became the eagles...in california...

UConn -3.5 over Johnnies ***** strong play
Huskies go out and beat West Vir and Nova...then hit a wall and lose to Louie,ND and USF...Johnnies can't shoot and have no team chemistry...dyson and walker are 2 gds the johnnies will have trouble stopping.Then throw in Robinson,Edwards and Or,Majok..these guys are all 6'9 and 6'10...No way Huskies lose this and don't cover..its redemption time for them..Johnnies are lucky to be playing..Roberts could be coaching his last game..Huskies beat Johnnies 75-59 earlier in the yr...about the same score..

USF -6.5 over DePaul **
Jones,Howard and Mercer at the gds will cause problems for DP.Koshwal doesn't have enough around him.

Seton Hall -5.5 over Prov ***

Hall has 4 gds that will cause problems to one of the worst defenses in the BE.Prov on offense is pretty good ranking 6th in the country but they give up 81 pts a game..Pope and Robinson inside and Hazell and co outside...

Rutgers +7.5 over Cinncy **
Niadye inside vs Yates.RU gets the nod over the Kats.

Bonnies -1.5 over Dukies **

Weber St -8 over Portland St **

North Texas +1 over Troy ***
NT has won 10 in a row but its been a rollercoaster ride..esp the last 2 games...vs UL Monroe down 14 pts in 2nd half..down by 7 with under 4 they come back and won...vs denver last nite down 10-1 to start the game...up 14 in 2nd half..denver gets it to 1 with 5 or 6 minutes to go...then NT wakes up and wins by 6 or 7..well Nt can't do that tonite...they beat troy at their place by 3 way back...Troys top 3 scorers are gds.Hazzard,Delk and Vogler..they can shoot the 3..inside they have Coleman...Odufuwa must stop him...White and Thomson are solid..this 3 scored 49 of NT's 63 pts...going with my Mean green tonite...in a close one..NT can't do what it has done the past 2 nites...Troy knocked off two of the old powers in the sun...playing with a little to much heart..but NT is unreal vs the spread..and tonite they are the small dog...big diss on espn radio this week..The Herd said " if the NCAA expands to 90 teams ..schools like North texas and UNLV have no buisness going to the dance....well Herd....tonite the Mean Green will make you eat your words...

Sorry about UConn..didn't see the game but can't believe the Huskies didn't show up...
