Big Football Weekend

What a great year I've had to date. Tomorrow is the one year anniversary for my bariatric surgery. So far I've lost over 220 pounds and feel like a new man.

My Crimson Tide is 12-0, #2 in the nation and playing for their record 22nd SEC Championship this Saturday.

My Colts are 11-0, AFC Champs for the 6th time in 7 years and playing the much improved Titans this Sunday. With a 3 game lead on the entire AFC, the #1 seed is only a few weeks away.

Dunclock and a buddy are driving up from Nashville this Saturday to watch the game at my place, then taking them to the Colts/Titans game on Sunday.

Ordered a bunch of gator bites and gator sausage for the SEC Championship party I'm having on Saturday. Gonna be a blast!

Gonna be a blast for sure Bryan. Will definitely be disappointed if we lose to the Gayturds, but not as upset had we lost to your Tigers. The dream is still alive. I've said from the day we hired Saban that by the 3rd year he woud have us competing for the National Championship and I was a year late. As for my Colts, I'm resigned to the fact they will lose at least once before the regular season is over. I hope it's not the is week because I don't want to listen to Andy's s***! :mj07:

Wish I could say that I hadn't been drinking, but I think by the end of the game I had killed a pretty good amount of Crown, LOL.

You don't have to drink beer boss, I've got a fully stocked bar. Ketel One, Smirnoff, Patron, Crown, Beam, Woodford, Maker's, Four Roses, Jameson, JW Blue Label plus a full wine fridge. :scared

Thanks my friend. My buddies come over to watch me watch the football game. They say it's quite entertaining.

My cats receivers, to wit, Gilyard, Bins, Woods and Guidili are gonna be playing fetch, fetch, fetch Tony Pikes passes all day long (albeit rather cold conditions at ketchup field) against what I believe is a rather suspect Panther secondary. Although I am somewhat warry of Mr. Lewis (hell of a freshman back) I do believe we will have 8 in the box trying to stop the run and let Stull try to beat us. All in all I look forward to a great football game.

I agree with you that it will be a close game (until the fourth quarter). I think the bad thing going for UC is the weather forecast. Good thing for UC is Tony Pike's accuracy and 3 potential NFL receivers in Mardy Gilyard, Armand Bins and DJ Woods.

Difference in game - one word - Wannstadt.

I will be one of only three guys in the Post-Gazette suite wearing a red shirt, with a black eye and several bandaids on my face. I will look like a white Tiger Woods. Look for me on TV. Will be staying at the Pittsburgh Hilton and tailgaiting outside of Heinz Field at about 10 AM. Will take that suggestion on the sandwich and where to go after the game to watch who we will play in the Sugar Bowl. Just no Steeler bars, please.

Right now my madjacks friend the year is 2009 and as far as football city of champions your thoughts are gonna have to go down river a few hundred miles to the Queen City. May I remind you that the Bengals handily swept the Steelers and after this Saturday at about 3:30 PM, the City of Cincinnati will be 3-0 in college and professional football over the city of Pittsburgh in 2009. This is the year of the tiger and bearcat.
