Not as many top games this week with any significance to Nat'l Championship except a couple.

Notre Dame @ Fla St. WOW!! This will be one of the most heavily watched games for sure, especially for the Golden Domer fans/alumni, Catholic Church. Florida St with embattled 2013 Heisman trophy winner Winston. Golston a second shot at redemption, he's more mature and is getting into a groove. ND laid an egg getting behind 14-0 to UNC on Saturday which many felt would be a let down, but giving up 43 pts to UNC at home? That's not Irish like typically! Especially at home!! Fla St toyed with Sillycuse most of their game and gave 'Cuse the back door cover. Noles had plenty of opps to put 'Cuse away but didn't and still got a 18 pt win, which dropped them in the Polls by percentage points although they are undefeated. I have Noles to be favored by 4-7 pts. Let's see what Vegas throws out tonight!!

One game under the radar a bit may be Rutgers at 5-1 vs Ohio St 4-1. Rutgers is 5-1? WOW!! Barrett for OSU has been getting better each week and if not for some bad reads vs V Tech, the Buckeyes could be 6-0, but it is what it is and they are 5-1 and not going to get many pts from voters as Tech keeps laying bad performances, putting that loss by OSU to VT into the voting process. Computer numbers have Buckeyes as a 21 pt favorite, my number is 17. Interesting game that will get little hype, but this is big to HC Flood and the Rutgers backers.

Baylor at 6-0 goes into Morgantown, WV and plays the Mountaineers, last year these two teams put up 115 pts and WV failed to cover as a 30+ dog, losing 73-42 @ Baylor. Baylor off big game, we know, vs TCU, winning by 3, 61-58? WV got last second FG to beat Tx Tech in Lubbock on Saturday. TT has problems folks. Bama didn't beat up on WV as many would have thought and Bama has come down a little bit, but don't tell that chick, Phyllis who comes on that ESPN show with the SEC Guru, Feinbaum, she'll go apeshit on ya, just ask Colin Cowherd who she calls "Cow-terd". Will WV show up vs Baylor? I have this line to be around only 11-13 pts in favor of Baylor on the rd. Baylor on the rd already looked like crap vs Texas, but Texas "D" is tad bit better than WV "D" and Baylor won by 21 @ Austin.

Georgia @ 5-1 goes back on the rd again in the SEC to face the Hogs who lost to Bama 14-13 at home on Saturday. Georgia shut down Mizzou big time. Matty Mauk did squat and Georgia young players riddled Mizzou "D". Can Hogs hang with Georgia? I have that line at only -7 for Georgia, Ark is 3-1 L4 but has not played Georgia with HC Bielema.

Oklahoma 5-1 at home vs K State 4-1. Sooners should be 11-13 pt favorites at home and failed to cover their last 2 games, losing to TCU away, K State lost at home to Sooners LY 41-31. Waters get a second chance vs the Sooners.

Alabama 5-1 @ home vs A&M who's lost 2 straight now and didn't look good at all vs Miss. Miss basically shut em down until the 4th Q, but that score wasn't even indicative of what Ole Miss was doing to A&M. Land shark "D" was very tough. Bama has a decent "D", but their "O" is fucked up. Figures huh? Kiffinator running the offense?!! He's a terrific young mind, says, Saban. Sure Nick, are you sure you know about Lane? Lane is the biggest BS artist in college & pro football since he became a Head Coach for the Faiders. Bama should be at least a touchdown fav at home vs A&M, but that games smells like a 3 pt game if Hill & A&M can get their shit back together after 2 bad losses in which they were down 3 or more tds.

This game might not mean much in the BCS stuff, but Kentucky is 5-1 and heads into LSU, LSU should be a 15-18 pt favorite? WOW.

Another insignificant game, Oklahoma St is 5-1 and goes to TCU who dropped their first game to Baylor by 3. Okie State won last year so big revenge for TCU. TCU should be a 14 1/2 pt favorite? YIKES!!

GL this week.

As always, your input on any of these games is appreciated!

Ok St/TCU

Pinnacle shows TCU -9 and I smell a blowout. Cowboys have talent but are so young and imo are highly overrated. Think Frogs dominate this game.

KST/OU

Pinnacle shows OU -9.5 which to me is absurd. Cats will shut down a Sooner offense that I think is very one dimensional. Love KST outright regardless what the line is 'telling' us.

Baylor/WV

Pinnacle line is Baylor -9.5. Baylor is another team I think is a tad overrated. Early game in Morgantown I'll take the points all freaking day. Wouldn't surprise me to see an upset here as well.

Just my thoughts Billy

The LSU-Kentucky game will probably depend on how well Kentucky can slow down LSU?s running game and also on how well Kentucky can run. South Carolina proved the Cats can be suspect to the run when they ran for about 280 yards; fortunately for Kentucky they were able to score 45 points. LSU is not going to give up a ton of points so the Cats are going to have to do a better job in this department. I?m thinking Kentucky needs to hold LSU to around 200 yards on the ground and run for at least 125 themselves. If that can happen, and Kentucky can keep their cool in a hostile environment, they could cover and maybe even possibly win outright. The odds aren?t favorable for the outright win, but I?ve seen wild and crazy things happen when these two tangle, most notably the ?Bluegrass Miracle? a few years back when LSU scored as Kentucky fans were running onto the field to celebrate. The last time I was at a game between the two was in Baton Rouge in the late 90?s I believe when Tim Couch was QB and Hal ?no punt? Mumme was the coach for Kentucky and the Cats kicked a last second field goal to nip the Tigers 41-39 (or thereabouts). LSU is probably the smart choice but Kentucky does seem to have some mojo or something going for them this year and it wouldn?t surprise me if they covered, the other is just wishful thinking. I?ve got LSU by 9, 8, 4, and 3; I?m trying to play Ky but can?t work up the nerve so far. I just hope Ky can stay in the game.

Kentucky started out slow vs ULM but turned on the burners quickly. LSU is a mess, they can't decide on who to QB and they aren't good stopping short passes and play action, they've been exposed badly by FLA and AUB and were lucky to beat FLA, FLA handed the game right to 'em the last minute of the game Saturday. LSU is a hard place to win at, but this team isn't the same as teams in the past under, Mad Hatter. That line should have opened much higher, opened -11 1/2 and quickly dropped a full dollar to -10 1/2? I know that wasn't Big Blue fans kicking that line down. Something is up!!

Thanks for all the input folks, if you have more, bring it on, it only helps us!! :)

Baylor has a strong chance to be knocked off, leaving very few undefeateds left. Petty has been a one man show with his WRs and their "D" is getting ripped apart. WV could do that at home to Baylor, if the same team that played Oklahoma does it's belly flop, they'll get crushed.

We'll see what happens this week. Very interess-tink!!

A Cole sighting!! YES. I agree with a lot what you said, Cole & CG!!

TCU has had 2 tough games back to back, OKLA and BAY and Okie State had Cupcake U LW and should have smeared the Jaychickens but won by only 7. Walsh has been out and will continue to be out, but the running game for OKIE ST has been ok for the most part, but that line opened kinda funny, -9 1/2 and dropped a buck to -8 1/2? Hmmm.. Not a far travel spot for Cowboys and Horned Frogs might be a bit blindsided at home. We'll see.

K State, I know the QB very well, actually he was about 2 years old last time I saw him and he ended up a decent lil QB in Council Bluffs, I-owe-ay. I coached his daddy and uncle, Jimmy & Jeff a while back in summer baseball. Jake is a competitive kid and will bring it to the Sooners, but difference in this game will be K State "D" vs Sooners & their soph QB, and the special teams. Could end up a 6-7 pt game here.

Baylor game smells still for me, that line might continue to drop just like it did when Oklahoma came to Morgantown, but Sooners prevailed and kicked the Vegas number.

Good stuff ya'll!!

Keep 'er comin!!

Total Kentucky homer here.....this coaching staff and team is different. We Kentucky football fans are like damaged goods. We expect the worst as we have been watching disappointment for years. It is like we have accepted our place in the sec cellar. As of now no one has told this staff or team anything about that. Haha!!!

I really think we show up.... If Boom, JoJo and Heard can establish a running game Towles will be able to have success through the air. Over the years many sec schools have dominated us. There are a few that have had trouble with us for whatever reason. Lsu is one. Georgia the other. I like our chances to at least be in the game.

All games in this series since 1992
KENTUCKY is 10-3 against the spread versus LSU since 1992
LSU is 8-6 straight up against KENTUCKY since 1992
4 of 8 games in this series have gone OVER THE TOTAL since 1992
Games over the last 3 seasons
There were no past matchups in this series during this time period.

All games played at LSU since 1992
KENTUCKY is 4-2 against the spread versus LSU since 1992
LSU is 5-2 straight up against KENTUCKY since 1992
3 of 4 games in this series have gone UNDER THE TOTAL since 1992
Games played at LSU over the last 3 seasons.
There were no past matchups in this series during this time period.

Love what Stoops is doing at UK. This could be the year they take it to LSU, but again, away is a tough road to hoe for this team, but I know their confidence will be high going in. Last time they had a decent QB, he's a big brute, Lorenzen I believe, like 6'4 280 lb lefty QB!! As you said, G, if the running game can get going, they will have a chance beating LSU.

GL!!
