On a 10 scale

Tri tip 9.9

Beer can Chicken 9.6 needs a better rub I am going to try Dizzy Dust next time

1/2 Turkey breast 9.8

It's hard to mess things up on the Big Green Egg
unless you take a nap

==========================

ONLY reason most are 9.9 there's always room for improvement

PS The wife also loves it.. She has only had to cook dinner 3 times Since I brought it home

Tried one more thing.

I have never brined anything

1 gallon water
2/3 to 3/4 cup of Morton's kosher salt
2 tablespoons Morton's TenderQuick
1/2 of an onion, sliced
several cloves of garlic, sliced
handfull of brown sugar
cracked pepper or pepper blend
peppercorns

1st time Turkey legs

I let them soak for 24 hrs

Pat dry get the egg upto 220 and put them on
about 3 hrs later Done

Tasted just like the ones you get at a fair or disneyworld. :0074

My plan for Thanksgiving is to cut up the FREE Turkey you always get when you buy a Ham from the grocery store and smoke the the breast on T_day. Then take the rest of the parts wings, thighs and drumbsticks and smoke them them a few days before.
