Favorites & Overs! I wonder if we aren't due for a low-scoring weekend soon? These totals are getting big....

***** = Instances where the line has moved the opposite direction of the public's preference. (ie. public piling on the Over, yet the total continues to drop)

Well, the public was taken to the cleaners today. What really interests me though is those starred games. The public was HUGE on each of those teams, yet the line moved the opposite direction in each.

Buffalo opens at -8...over 70% of the people on Buffalo...and it closes around -7? or -7.

Jax opens at -2?....over 70% on them....line gets driven down to -1! A very late surge (ie. last 15 mins before kickoff) pushed it back up to -2, -2? some places. (The line movement thru the week is what I am looking at though, since a late jump on a fav is nothing surprising).

New Orl Over...same story. This time the public was right though.

Jax Over...can't tell at this point which side is correct.

Anyways, the point is, SOMEONE was dropping a TON of money on the other side of these starred games to push the line down despite large numbers of people being on the other side.
