Can yas believe it???.... the most probable Horse of the YEAR (in most opinions, that is) and plenty of REAL hoss racers will be on the track, fighting it out, today at good ole Philadelphia Wace Twack. And plenty of racing fans too...

Got nuthin to write about asfaras the BIG race goes for today. I did check it out and if even if I thought Chrome is not ready to take on the tough competition he'll be facing - I still would keep my moola in my pocket cause there's just too many valid contenders running against him. I used to LUV the big races like today's Pa Derby and no matter how much that LUV costed me I wouldn't trade in those days at the track for anythng. Much more practical about those things these days and just don't see things the same way. That is, throwing money at a GUESS that Chrome is or isn't ready to take them on at a "foreign" wace twack (to him that is) after a discouraging loss and a fairly long vacation just isn't as much fun as it used to be. Betta believe I WILL be watching the race though.

BTW, taking a shot (which I WON'T be doing) with the big favorite in the Cotillion Stakes race today DOES make a lot more sense methinks.

Plenty of playables today and here's two that came up as top rated according to my figures. I like the way the nos. fell into place for these two and both have some real value oddswise too....

6th race, no. 5, Sailor's Revenge (8/1)

7th race, no. 6, Velvet Cap (10/1)
. The two outside horses in this race look like zacta factas. Didn't decide on those yet, but I will be on V.C. fosho.

G.L.

Thanks DT

Thanks DT

Always good to know you're around even if you're not posting in this place.

Let's see..... hmm, HALF of my (posted) hosses got scwatched to make it an "even" ONE. :)

Maybe that's a good thing although I do have an EXCUSE for that there Velvet hoss who closed BIG TIME to get up for 4th; he was way too far back in the first half of the race and I think he coulda been closer if the jock allowed him to be.

Right now I'm down for the day but did collect a small zack and plenty of scratch returns. Only would take one wiener from this point to get me ahead. I doubt I'll be playing anything for the last few races though, just watch the "Chrome" race.

It's them footsbawlers that are REALLY, REALLY doing me in alright. Not only do they lose but almost EVERY stinkin loss is a game that they sure as hell LOOKED like they were ready to cash. EVERY STINKIN ONE, pros and college. I playem for the game and they EZly cover the first half and lose, I playem first half and just the opposite happens.. EVERY dang time too.

I am getting CREAMED with these bastages. Today it was Pitt (college), a team that I wrote in here that I should NEVER play cause I've lost too many times with them in the past years whether I back them or fade them. I watched two of their game this season and they just looked too good to pass up vs. Iowa. FLUCK ! And I don't bet ONE stinkin dollar zacks or tries on Footsbawl.

I gots San Fran (bought the hook for -2 1/2 for tomorrow) so FADE THE BASTAGES. Yeah, thems were one of the teams I described above this season.

enjoy the rest of the waces.
