Iowa State @ Baylor - I realize the Bears will come ready to play and will be very thankful they aren't matching up with Kansas or Missouri who have owned them. I still don't like anything I have seen out of Baylor recently and will grab the points with Iowa State now rather than wait for the line to go down. Allen is coming off a career high for Iowa State and Royce White will be very tough for the thin and weak kids for Baylor. I also think Hoiberg is one heck of a coach and really question if Drew knows wtf he's doing half the time.
Iowa State +9 for 6*
Syracuse @ Louisville - Pitino has owned Boeheim and now Blackshear has come back and he looked solid for the Cardinals over the weekend. West Vagina played one heck of a game Saturday vs. Louisville, but still lost. I know Syracuse is the far deeper club, but I really like Louisville's chances to pull off the upset on Monday. Syracuse hasn't played many tough road games and this will be very tough (sorry, but winning @ Cincy isn't very impressive IMHO).
Louisville +3 (-120) for 6*
Kansas @ Kansas State - The Jayhawks looked unreal in the 1st half Saturday vs. Oklahoma State when they built a 51-24 halftime lead. In the 2nd half, they looked gawd awful and you could tell were looking forward to this game. K-State gave KU an ass whooping in Manhatten last year on Vanlentine's Day and you know Self will remind his team. I also have watched K-State's past couple games and they just don't look fluid offensively. Now that Withey has really stepped up his game (back-to-back monster games for the 7 footer), KU has one of the best Center/Power Forward combos in the country (well at least when Withey plays like the past couple games) and it doesn't hurt Teahan and Elijah Johnson are hitting some 3-point shots. Tyshawn Taylor has also been playing great at least the past month and should be a very difficult matchup for the Mildcats at the PG position. I'll be very surprised if K-State wins this game despite the fact their playing in the Octagon of Douche Bags (Doom). Kansas State has already been swept by Oklahoma and other than the 1st half @ Texas (where they go waxed in the 2nd half), they haven't looked worth a damn. After McGruder (he's been struggling a little), don't think anyone if capable of scoring over 20 points on this team.
Kansas -3 (-120) for 8*
Well going big so I'll either start the week up big or down... let's hope it's a BIG POSITIVE MONDAY!:00hour :0074
