Pitt @ Lu-vull, Pitt 5-2 in rd games, Lu-vull lost last 3 straight, common opp Villanova, Pitt beat Nova by 15 on the road and Ville lost to Nova by 9, Pitt only lost by 3 at Ville last yr - Panthers club getting more physical and playing with more confidence while Lu-vull is fading down the stretch and inside players losing their touch. Pitt should keep this game within 3 pts or win straight up, even at the Ville. Last 3 games have an average margin of 3 pts between the two teams.
Info on James Madison vs UNCW - JMU traveled through some freezing rain and snow to arrive in Wilmington, NCW won recently on the road at Hofstra and are 7-1 at home this year, NCW got whooped at JMU by 28 earlier in January. Buzz Petersen has this club of transfers playing a lot better of late. Jimmy Mad is 4-8 on the rd vs 7-1 NCW at home, some homecourt value here for NCW and Jimmy Mad may get back two players who've battled illness and boo-boos. Revenge for Buzz's clubs in the past have been 80% winner while he was at Appy St & Tennessee where he got no love - no one gets love at Tennessee except when Bruce Pearl was there - Buzz wants this one and my lean would be to take the pts, if the line was more than 2 1/2. This is a 3-4 pt game with error margin of 2 pts. If a total comes up, lean towards the under.
