Pittsburg tomorrow -8
The Steelers will crush the Browns. The first two games showed the Steelers winning by only 3 each game but in reality the Steelers outgained them by over 100 yards in the first game and in the second by over 200 yards. Pittsburg dominated them in each game but the scores were deceiving. In the last game the Browns had a late backdoor cover touchdown as most of their yardage came against a prevent defense. Cleveland doesn't have the receivers to exploit the weakness in the Pittsburg defense.
Colts +6
The Jets are off 2 emotional games. Last week they exploited a Packer defense that was without Darren Sharper and a nickel back Todd Mc Bride who was playing with a groin injury. The Packers also played with a free agent rookie offensive tackle who John Abraham killed. The week before they played New England and exploited a rookie cornerback. The Colts offense will score enough points to keep this game close. The kicking game favors the Colts as John Hall is very inconsistent. If it weren't for the poor field conditions and windy conditions I would be taking the over also. The Jets are playing well right now but do not have a dominating defense and this is too much to lay.
Over 40 in the Packer/Falcons
Although it may snow tonight I think that is an advantage to both offenses as last year the browns and packers played a high scoring affair in the snow. In the first meeting the packers could not contain Vick and with the injuries to Sharper and Mcbride make the packers vulnerable. Crumpler should have a big day over the middle. Everyone will look at that Buffalo game and think of low scoring at Lambeau but in that game the winds were 20-30 mph. The Packers have Earl Dotson returning to the offensive line and that should be a plus. Donald Driver will also play. The turf at Lambeau will be poor as ususal making it hard to get a pass rush. I would lean with Atlanta +7 but it is hard to go against Favre at home as he has only lost 12 games at home in ten years at Lambeau and the Last 5 playoff games for Green Bay were all against warm weather teams and they won by over 10 points. The Packers benefitted by having a weak home schedule this year with Atlanta being the only playoff team.
Giants +3.5
The weakness of the secondary of San Francisco will be exploited by the Giants. All year Marriucci has played conservative to keep his defense off the field. Unfortunately for him Owens and Garcia were too stupid too realize this and asked to open up the offense if the 49ers are going to win they are going to have to play ball control. This is a very average 49er team and have lost at home to Philadelphia and Green Bay down the stretch. In my opinion the Giants have played the best football of any NFC team down the stretch and would be a Super bowl contender if not for having to go on the road for 3 straight weeks.
Good luck to everyone on their plays
