When it comes to HDTV's, RCA's are HORRIBLE...absolutely brutal track record. Do NOT buy the RCA Scenium. I have read 10x the horror stories for that one TV than for the next-worst.

Auburn, you may have lucked out and gotten a decent one...but they are the absolute last big-name company I would buy from.

I dont think we have Costco here. Looking at HH Gregg because of 24 month 0% interest. I cant believe how many choices are out ther. Good luck Jack and if I find out any good deals or info I will pass them on. Gm your info has been a HUGE help.

Agent there is a costco up off of michigan road by the pyramids on the north side.

I personally would deal w/best buy,(they at the minimum a 1year 0 percentage) Had many experiences w/hhgregg in the past, too much pressure put on customer about extended warranties, one salesman got pissed at me last time when i refused, that was my last purchase from hhgreggs.

I have a 52' mitshibushi and would highly recommend anything made by them, on the list of makers not to buy ge and rca both junk in my opinion. Had a rca lose it's picture after 2 years.

If your going to buy a $2000 Big Screen TV your crazy not to buy it at COSTCO. You could own this TV for 5 years and actually take it back. They have no time limit on returns. Believe me I have done this numerous times with printers, Digital cameras and a Sharp LCD TV that I just didn't like. The only item they have restrictions on are computers and that's six months.

I bought my son a 3 megapexial digatal camera three years ago. After one year he took it back for a 4 MP and just last week he took that back for a 5 MP and a refund of $100. How can you pass that up???

I know several of my buddies bought them and they never had no complaints. The only way I would update is if I got HDTV. It serves its purpose.
