12/23 at home against Pitt.......lost 17-7 yeah everyone will say Brad Johnson wasnt playing, yes but that doesnt explain why you cant put up more than 7 points against a Pitt team that gave up 30 to Baltimore the next week at Pitt, gave up another 30 against Cleveland at home with a backup at qb, then gave up another 34 last week to Tennessee...so Tb the last 4 teams Pitt played they avg 30 points against them but you could only get 7 at home........get the picture.

Well what can I say. That was a mismatch. I did not come into this thread to start any trouble. I respect ray and his info. Him and I had some good natured banter going in a couple of my threads. I did not mean to insult the good Philly fans out there. For that I apologize. I just had bad experieces 3 times as a buc fan and several times with Giant fans I would go with. Mostly just beer getting thrown and alot of threats. However I did not see anyone ever trying to aid us and keep the so called bad seeds in line. Therefore I formed an opinion, that I feel I have every right to form. Again if you are a good fan and not a trouble maker or a criminal, which anyone who physically attacks a person is, Than my remarks were not meant for you. The EAgles will be back.

Gruden's crew did an outstanding job and particularly Monty G whose D strategies excelled. I do like a Coach/ Co-Ordinator who can make quick adjustments to plans. For me no one in the NFL does it better and he'll need all his best scheming to help stop the Raiders.

On the opposite side of the ball you gotta wonder what juice Andy Reid was on before/ during the game. I've never seen such a flat bunch of players and as for some of the calls :shrug:

Even JJ's D didn't start applying pressure until the 3rd Q. I watched Brad Johnson as a London Monarch in NFL Europe and he's no more mobile now- he makes Dan Marino look like Mike Vick- but give him time and simple stuff and he gets the job done.

This was a case of a team that wanted to win taking it over a team that expected to win.

If the bet was offered again tomorrow and they were playing this upcoming weekend..I would STILL take the Birds!! Sorry about your local boys! Bottom line as Roller said...they came out flat!! The coulda won the game if they didnt bring their "D" effort and "F" coaching plan! Any given Sunday..and yesterday was all T-Bay.. Congrats to TB backers...they deserved the W

may i ask why kbyoday? im sorry but the eagles got dominated on both sides of the ball. the only reason they even scored a td was becasue they only had to go 25 yards to get it. the eagles got outplayed and outcoached and tampa is flatout a much better team and i dont see how you dont think so after watching that game.
