Big Trouble for Oregon Football?

The NCAA has been looking into Oregon's recruiting practices since questions arose over a payment of $25,000 to Willie Lyles and his Houston based recruiting service. Oregon has acknowledged in documents that it did not adequately monitor its football program and that it did not follow NCAA regulations relating to recruiting and use of recruiting services.

A statement of "proposed findings of violations" submitted by the NCAA to the Oregon athletic department was obtained Friday in public records request by several media outlets. The heavily redacted documents did not list any possible penalties.

IMO, this one of those times when you see how much big money plays a role in college football. Nike is a BIG sponsor for college football teams and we all know what Nike is to Oregon. I think they get the wrists slapped and that's it.
