FLORIDA @ LSU
12 game winning streak for florida, 3 game losing streak for LSU. Florida has won last 5 in the series and is 3-0 this year in conference on the ROAD. Fla has 4 players (Bonner, Roberson, Walsh and Lee) averagin double digits. Lee is VERY TOUGH on D and will contain any threat LSU has. LSU lost to miss by 10 at home to show that they are beatable on their own floor! This florida team leave Baton Rouge with a win and cover tonight boys.
Early leans that I have decided not to play...
Ind +4 (Both teams need the win, but MSU lack of a point
guard has team in a serious offensive funk. Chris Hill
is only true scorer. Leach is in the doghouse and will
work hard tonight to get out....him coupled with
Newton should help contain inside forces of MSU and
help with the rebounding, guard play will be the diff
and with Hornsby in the doghouse we should see
more strickland who is more athletic, quicker, better
defense, and can score if he would gain more
confidence. Ind has won 4 of the last 6 in this series,
including 2 of 3 last year, losing the only game @ MSU
by only 3 points (they get 4 here) and had many opps
to pull off the SU win LY. Still with the way that IU has
looked on the road and the ol' unranked home team
giving pts to a ranked opponet trend....I am staying
away......
A&M +17.5 (this team is gradually getting better, 11-5 this year.
OU is a big rival of the Aggies and Melvin Watkins is
a great coach that will have this team competing
for the BIG 12 in the next 5 years. Sampson has a
lot of respect for him and likes him a lot, can't see
him running the score up (as he NEVER does) even
if he did have a team that could.....that the thing, I'm
not sure OKL can score enough to win by this #.
Staying away anyway as A&M has NEVER won @ OKL
and has lost by double digits last 3 in Norman. Not
to mention OKL now has the longest home win
streak AND will be looking to get revenge for A&M's
upset victory in football this year in College Station...
Wake -2.5 (really liked this one all day, but have decided FOR
NOW not to play on a gut feeling....Clemson @ Home
to spoil a ranked Wake's night....clemson's good 10-
2 record at home.....Clemson's win last year in
double ot over wake for first win in last 7 tries to
start a streak and gain some confidence in the
series......15 minutes to tip off.....do I change my
mind and make it a 2 unit......NOPE, one play tonight
