I did not handicap this game I am just rolling with my Boss. He bet 2,000 on Florida St minus 13.5.I took half of his action. Am I on the wrong side? what do you think!!

There is no comparison between athletes on the two teams. FSU totally outclasses NIU. If FSU comes motivated, they should easily cover the 13.5. IMO they will shut down Harnish. NIU is a one-dimensional team, and that won't fly against FSU's defense. Good luck. :0074

not sure how NIU is one dimensional as they complete 63% of passes and Lynch has a 24 to 5 TD-INT ratio...

sure they run the ball more than they pass but that doesnt mean they cant pass.

IMO NIU's whole offense basically revolves around Lynch's running the ball. The key is FSU's motivation. If the 'Noles are flat, it could be an intersting game cover-wise. If FSU is motivated, it won't be close. :)

FSU didn't cover any of their road games. So unless this is a home any team has a chance of covering the spread against them.

It doesn't matter what I think. Check Thunder's thread and see what he thinks.

He just posted NIU (+13).

I don't mean to slavishly follow him, but if you don't know what you are doing, then play safe.

Unless your Boss if a big time Vegas sharp.

Or unless a dime means nothing to you.

It is difficult to imagine why FSU would b the.more motivated team.they know what ur saying, that they r more talented.hawaii geogia was different because of all the attention Hawaiis qb got.Colt something i think, they were being mentioned nationally as possible title contenders. Is NIllini? NO!.nillini is ranked 15th.this is a classic david and Goliath.a better comparison imo would b boise st oklahoma.

Harnish; too funny! :mj07:

This is the mistake too many people are making; just blindly saying "ACC vs. MAC instantly means blowout". The Big Ten has found out over the last decade that the MAC is not a conference that just lays down and rolls over.

IMO this game is a lot more akin to Oklahoma/Boise St than Georgia/Hawaii. The MAC produces quality NFL players year in and year out (including Pro-Bowlers like Roethlisberger and Michael Turner).

And anyone who has watched this Florida St. team play on the road and feels comfortable laying over 2 TDs - please pass a little of whatevee you're smoking this way. GA Tech is as one-dimensional as they come and FSU still barely eked out the win.

Sorta like when Tebow and Harvin were playing for the Gators huh?

NIU defense is a lil different than most MAC teams - NIU knows FSU will key on Lynch, key will be who doesn't turn the ball over in this one.

GL!!
