I did not handicap this game I am just rolling with my Boss. He bet 2,000 on Florida St minus 13.5.I took half of his action. Am I on the wrong side? what do you think!!

I must be the only one confused.

You took half his action, as you you gave $1000 to the book and $1000 you kept yourself vs your boss, meaning you need NIU

Or

You coattailed the same play, but only for half of his action, meaning you need $1000 on FSU

Sorta like when Tebow and Harvin were playing for the Gators huh?

NIU defense is a lil different than most MAC teams - NIU knows FSU will key on Lynch, key will be who doesn't turn the ball over in this one.

GL!!

There is no comparison between NIU's and U of Florida's teams talent-wise. This is a complete talent mismatch. Again, if FSU is motivated, this will be a blowout.

exactly

comes down to who wants to be there

if FSU does, they are so athletically superior it will get ugly

if FSU just cruises, then NIU is more then capable then playing with another teams 50% effort

It doesn't matter what I think. Check Thunder's thread and see what he thinks.

He just posted NIU (+13).

:0008

That's the funniest thing I've read in a while around here. No disrespect to thunder but talk about The pot calling the kettle black.

There is no comparison between athletes on the two teams. FSU totally outclasses NIU. If FSU comes motivated, they should easily cover the 13.5. IMO they will shut down Harnish. NIU is a one-dimensional team, and that won't fly against FSU's defense. Good luck. :0074

One-dimensional? Do your stats show a rushing average of 250 ypg and 236 ypg through the air for NIU?

Also, as much I love what Harnish accomplished at NIU, he now a member of the Indianapolis Colts. Won't be much of a factor tonight.

My mistake. I meant Lynch, but my point is still the same. This game shouldn't be close if both teams play to their capabilities.

I had more of an issue with the label on NIU as one dimensional. I think when you are 9th in the nation in Rush Offense, then being 59th in Pass Offense is more than adequate. Why would you pass when you run it so well?
We will see. Looking forward to this one. :toast:
