2 years ago I hit my biggest parlay winnings ever. I had one game I knew was a lock, and that was USC +3 @ CO. I put $1500 on the game at +3. I also liked 2 other games, and had $500 left in the account so I said what the heck and did a 3-team parlay. As long as USC won, I would be up at least $1000 for the day.
I had 3 games I loved, and all 3 were on TV and all were on at seperate times so I knew I was going to be able to watch all 3.
3-team parlay $500 to win $3000
Clemson (forgot the line)
USC +3 :thumb:
UCLA (forgot the line)
Clemson over G-Tech (sorta close game but Clemson won and covered, 24-19)
USC won 40-3 (the great part was USC completely dominated from the start and I did not have to sweat at all)
Then i had UCLA left in late afternoon. I was already up $1500 with a $500 3-team parlay left with 1 team to go. Do I hedge? I don't think I could have if i wanted too since the USC winnings prob. were not in my account yet. I decided not too because I already was guaranteed to be up $1000 for the day and i was very happy. SO i watched the game and it was little close but UCLA pulled out the 14pt victory.
$4,500 for the day.
That same year I did 10-team parlays pretty much every weekend for $10, but never won. Usually hit 4-6 of the 10 teams. However, one weekend I had 8 of the 9 cover and the other game I pushed. Very close to hitting a 9-team parlay.
Last year I did few 2-team parlays but I stopped doing 3 or more teams. Since they do not pay off the right amount and it is so hard to nail 3/3.
