take this fwiw, but caribsports.com has lines up for "future games" that are "bettable" (which i would think means the line has to have "somewhat" of a vegas origin) but last thursday, they had:
ohio state (-7) over michigan
available to bet
that line seems to be sharp and possibly accurate, since a lot of the responses to your post seem to be in the 5 to 9 point range, and 7 (being a key number) seems to be a happy medium.
ill tell you what though- if that line opens at 7 (hell, even 6 or more), michigan has to be worth a very strong look. osu beats michigan once every 100 years, lol and i just dont see osu doing it in b2b years (or at least w/o a struggle). im not at all convinced osu is the #2 team in the nation. not even friggin close. in fact, right now, theyre the 3rd best team in their own conference. you can pull rabbits out of your ass vs wisconsin and purdue, but they aint gonna do it vs michigan.
jmo though.
having said that, i think osu wins and covers this week vs illinois.
go figure.
