This was addressed at another site....

Bilichickenshit is up 38-0 with 10 mins to go in the game and he goes for it on 4th down instead of kicking a FG. Then he passes for a touchdown. He is pissing of a lot off a lot of great coaches................
But then again, can you expect any less of someone who cheats????
It won't be TOO long before somebody takes Brady out.
How can any SANE person defend that kind of activity?

Actually they did it twice 52-0.

Arrgh what say you ??

Part of me feels that this is the NFL and these are grown men paid to play a game and if they want to keep from getting beat by 5 touchdowns, then do something about it. Then I realize we are talking about that lying, cheating SOB Bill Billicheat and all rationalization goes out the window. I feel he is thumbing his nose at the other 31 teams and the NFL office. He won't stop until he succeeds or someone gets hurt.

In all honesty, when are enough points enough?

When you have a 38 point lead with 10 minutes to go why do you still have your starters in the game? I'm an Alabama fan and I remember all to well when Mike Shula kept Tyron Prothro (of the over the back flip into the endzone catch against Southern Miss) in the game against Florida up 31-3 with 10 minutes to go and threw deep into the endzone. What ensued was one of the most grotesque leg breaks I've ever seen. Prothro never played again and suffered through several surgeries.

My take on this is ....it's refreshing to see a team that plays from start to finish. You're paid to play a game....play the damn game and stop worrying about the other guys feelings. If you don't like losing 52 - 7......do something to stop it ! From what I've seen so far, that's not going to happen any time soon.

You would think that in a forum like this everyone would be happy to see a team like New England. I mean isn't it nice to not have to worry about a "backdoor cover".......ever.

I for one..... am glad that New England is playing like this and I'm not ashamed to say it.

Believe it or not Colts Coach Tony Dungy said this morning on Sirius that his team was in the same situation before and were criticized too for running up the score...Dungy stated that he had put backup QB Jim Sorgi in the game because they were way ahead but wanted Sorgi to play without concern of the score...when asked Dungy didn't see any problem with what the Patriots did yesterday.

That very well could be, but I doubt on 4th down that Dungy went for it.... or was throwing deep passes to the endzone.

Tide, think about this. He went for it not trying to run up the score but to take the harder course of going for it. Kicking a Fg IMO would be even more of a rub in the face than going for it on 4th down. It is much harder to accomplish that than kicking the field goal and it gave Washington a chance get a stop.

Just sayin:shrug:

On the course!
He wants one thing: Imortality.

EVERYONE still talks about Shula's Dolphins from '72

I'm pretty sure that was 35 years ago!

He wants to, and IS, destroying teams. He wants the scoring record.....the TD record for his boy, and the 16-0.

I cannot be the only guy who sees this, for fuk sake!?

If this is the ONE SHOT he has......you think he's not going to take it? HIM ????

I have been laughing at friends at work, and got them again this week, as NE/over has been the easiest two team parlay in the history of sports!

It has only lost once this season, when they failed to get the over home. Guys refused to jump on it with me a month ago "because it can't last", and sure enough......it lost that week. But since then, I've made out like a whore! Guys are still "sure" that it won't last!!!!

Since that Monday night game on Oct 1st, it is an 8-0 parlay! (I settle for the two-teammer each week, myself.....)

Anyone think it can happen again this week?????

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :00hour <------- First time I ever used this fuker!

if New England wants to try to score 100 pts., then good for them.

you pay to see both teams play their best. not for the better team to take 25% of the game off.

this is professional sports, if the players are offended maybe they should quit, and get people who want to compete.

personally cannot stand the patriots, and watched the game with a few Pat fans, who wanted to watch the whole game, switch it to TB game late.

still compete. maybe these teams should look at themselves and realize how much more work they have to do........ stop the crying.

thanks
