Well make room for Bill Belichick. This little mastermind prepares a game plan better than anyone. How does he do it when you consider only one player was voted to the Pro Bowl last year.
Everytime I listen to a Patriot player do an interview they will always mention Belichick as the reason for their success. Watching the Pats-Bengals game today on TV they posted a stat 31-0 when leading after the half and 36-0 after 3 quarters. This tells me this guy does not make mistakes.
He is not an inspirational Lombardi type but rather like a war time general stripping down his enemy looking for weakness. I am a firm believer that talent wins games but on the rare occurrence like this when a leader paves the road for his team in my mind makes him the best.
His overall record is questionable due to some poor Cleveland Brown teams but his legacy will not be dependant on that time. Clearly, this will be another year where the road to the Super Bowl travels through Foxboro. Coach Belichick has planned for it.
