Have to say he's one of the best college coaches ever. Team picked 6th in the Big 12 and just beat OU. All I can say is WOW!

He always gets the most of his players, adjusts systems to the strength of his players and most of all, can recruit JuCo players better than most!
He gets the Juco players but more importantly is the fact that he can evaluate those players. It's very hard to evaluate JUCO players and if you've ever watched one of the games you would understand why.
Outside of what others have mentioned I think you have to add to it that he has a heck of a coaching tree which IMO means he not only teaches players but teaches coaches.
Just think what he could do if he had Oklahoma's talent. Stoops is exposed evertime he faces a program who beats him with far lesser athletes.

A class act. Felt that way about Joe Pa, but he is no longer around to defend what was at least myopic. Have met him. He is the real deal.
