Good Lord.

I agree. He's annoying. But I find it even more comical that they were saying 5 teams from the Crap12 would make the tourney. These look like two Special Olympic teams playing.

My money will squarely be betting against the Crap12 in the NCAA tourney.

I was watching a game ealier this season when big Bill was reflecting on the great Wooden era at UCLA. He seemlessly merged those thoughts on to Jimi Hendrix, asking the TV audience " Are you experienced?"

It was fucking brilliant. I about pissed my pants laughing. :0002

That's what I love about the guy. He also is free to criticize and doesn't kiss ass. Remember his feud with Lazy old Shaq?

I used to not love Walton much. Then I 1) discovered the Dead and 2) grew an appreciation for people that are true to themselves.

He has the balls to say what most UCLA alums are thinking about Howland, and he's just so no bullshit. It should be noted that I have similar sentiments towards Vitale... dude is real.

In addition to betting against Pac-12 during the tournament, I will be betting against all SEC teams except Florida.

He smells colors!

:0074

Personally, he also brings some color to game announcing. Just like all announcers, he can say some really dumb things, but in general, I like him a lot. He's not afraid to be different.

He had my friend and I laughing so hard....I usually turn the sound to mute during 90 of what i watch sports wise, but I could hardly wait for the second half of that game just to listen to Big Red.Anybody who watched the consistency and regularity with which the Bruins kicked ass,88 straight for christs sake, the symphony that was their break, starting most often w a Walton board and perfect outlet, the bank shot from the pivot that i never saw him miss til he was out of college, the endless mindblowing blocked shots,Walton has the right to go off about the bruins slow paced style and lack of talent all he wants.
