He was ordained as an offensive genius :mj07: but the Ravens offense was pathetic during his tenure.

Billicks probable parting comment...

Billicks probable parting comment...

" I did the best I could with absolutely no viable quarterback for my tenure; we did manage to win the big one with defense" "Good luck Baltimore, you will be lucky to see 3 wins next year"

I think what did him in the last couple years was that he completely went away with what won so many games.

He kept putting an old, injured McNair out there with average receivers and tried to show everyone how he was an offensive genius. Boller is not good, but he is way better than McNair at this time.

And he refused to use both strategy as well as a $20-million stud RB several times and it cost them a lot of wins.

I realize the D was banged up right from the start this year, but overall I think Billick's ego did him in and he needed to go. The offense is now going in the right direction with Troy Smith and that D has a couple/few good years left. They need a good WR to complement Smith.

I wonder what Jack thinks about this??

And who might be a better fit for this ball club??

I would like to see them bring in Marvin Lewis if they could lure him away from the bungholes.

Because Marvin Lewis has won what?? The fact of the matter is that Lewis has lost control of Cinncy and they havent gotten any better.

Why not bring Herman Edwards in?? Butch Davis?? Bobby Petrino??

Blatimore needs a young coach to bring some innovation to their offense and keep their Def. Coordinator in tact.

Im not a Baltimore fan by any stretch but it gets old talking about the same old coaches who dont get the job done.
