One interesting thing about billy's system, and it may be coincidence, maybe not... but it sure seems that when the games lose they dont lose by much... Thus, teasers might seem to be a nice little addition. I wonder what the average margin of loss it has been in the 15 or so losses...

Regardless of what system you use or follow, teasers are a sucker bet...

I can justify teasers in the NFL, but not really in hoops

I know the whole thinking about teasers being suckers in hoops, I just thought it was kind of interesting how damn close so many of these losses have been. Both last night within 3 pts.

G-Town bad beat

G-Town bad beat

First off, let me say that I enjoy Billy's picks and have made good money tailing them.

Having said that, the G-Town game last night was just a bad beat. Georgetown up 11 with 20 seconds left, Providence misses a three and G-Town rebounds. Instead of giving up, Providence chases to foul. G-Town throws a length of the court pass and dunks to go up 13 (which is bad news because it leaves the back door open). Providence comes down and shoots and 3 and misses and G-Town rebounds with 10 seconds left. At this point, Providence concedes the game and stops playing D. The G-Town big man who rebounded had his back to the basket and after holding the ball for three seconds decides to pass the ball to a guard. He throws to a teammate in the corner who is not within 20 feet of the nearest Providence player. When the G-Town player receives the ball he pivots and his big toe steps on the end line with 6 seconds left. Of course, Providence inbounds and doesn't lay it in or dunk, but measures up a 3 as G-Town sits there and watches. Nothing but net, Providence loses by 10 and G-Town holds the ball to end the game.

Games like that will test your nerves. It was over and shoulda been a winner but shit happens.

Keep up the great picks Billy and look forward to Saturday.
