Like I say, I do feel like the intent was to foul extremely hard, but not to that extent.

Still, the kid went in with a flying elbow and had no intent on blocking a shot.

Also...prob. repeating...Duke is down 13 with about a minute left. They are fouling, they are calling timeouts after made baskets.

I don't blame Duke for that. Its one of the biggest rivalries in sports. But, don't blame UNC for responding.

after playing and watching ancd coaching for 40 years theres little doubt Hindu went in there with benevolence ... wouldnt put it past fact that coach k says lay a shot on someone at some pt ... the rat didnt show remorse from what i saw ... if NC had been losing im sure roy woulda gone bananas ... as far as Packer, he is prob the most bitter announcer i know, he has zero warmth and handjobs the acc and Duke, never believeing they can lose and blatantly roots for them in NCAA Tourney every year ... His continuing employment baffles me, plus hes encouterning early Curt Gowdy disease, making a plethora of mistakes every telecast in last few years.

When I saw it live, I thought Hansbrough got fouled hard and that he landed bad and hit his head.

When I saw the replay from a different angle, I was sick. I saw the replay several times, and tried to see that it was an accident, but it wasn't.

I like Hansbrough a lot and think he's a good guy, a tough kid, and has a good work ethic. I also know he does walk a lot and gets too many calls.

I'd LOVE to see Duke play UNC again, but I hope Duke doesn't get that far.

I think this game is the epitome of Duke basketball over the last decade.

I looked at it as many times as it has been shown, and I still say it was unintentional. But this is obviously one that everyone is going to have an opinion, and there is only one person that knows the truth......

But I would pose this question.......if Ratface did instruct him to put a shot on one of their players, dont you think he would have sent in some goon to do it? Henderson is the best offensive player on Duke......and they might need him in the ACC tournament....

Honestly, I don't think it was instructed by Coach K. I don't think it was premeditated.

But I do think it was intentional. I think the guy was pissed and decided to give a very hard foul and it went way worse than he intended it.

The guy was not trying to block a shot, but I don't think he was trying to break a nose either. I think he was trying to put Hansbrough on the floor and did way more.
