Philly +2 over Giants *****
Wrong team is favored or at least it should be a pick'im. Philly has owned the giants...except in last years final game where the Giants blew them out...Philly has won 10 of last 12...covered 5 of last 6...McCoy is a " giant slayer"...he gets 100yds every freak'in time the Giants play him..even when the Jints had good defenses..I hate that guy..
The Giants have a lot of problems and that is the "problem"..OL is playing its 4th different combination in 5 games..Snee their best Ol is out for the season. Baas is out and Diehl comes back to start.Pugh the rookie has seen 3 different RG's next to him...there other 2 other OL on the other side have a total of 5 games "under their belt"...that is one of the reasons that wilson's longest run this year his 18 yds..Manning been sacked 14 times and god knows how many hurries.Eli cannot hurry the ball...that is his greatest weakness esp. on passes that are under 15-20 yds..he can heave some but so many times he throws right to the other team...Giants depth at RB is bad and their TE has been a big time disappointment...I still like Wilson and he is a "home run" hitter but...
On defense...probably right now they are worst def team in the NFL..don't know to much about the Jags but...DL..J. Paul and Tuck are out and out terrible.You see about 5 or 6 Subway commercials on TV every game..that is more then Tucks total tackles in the last 4 games...both DT's are out today..Joseph and Cullen..or hurting... Linebackers...we have none...I'm sure the Jags have better...they can't stop the run or get in the gap...and forget covering any Tight end...who ever the Philly TE is today scores big time fantasy points...giants picked up former all pro Beason this week ..not sure if he plays but MLB Herzuich will be benched and probably be cut the following week...
Db's...Ross,Webster and Holsey out today..McBride and Prince are the covers..not sure who has Jackson?..these guys are avg but with no pass rush its bad in the def backfield....special teams...terrible..
Now Philly after their 1st game isn't much better...both teams rank last in defense,pts allowed,etc..the hurry up offense that Kelly has installed is easier to use against Colorado..not NFL teams..but Kelly does have McCoy the leading rusher in the NFL and Vick who although somewhat is inconsistent can run and pass....the Giant def line can't sack a pocket passer{ lead the league with the fewest sacks}..how the hell are they going to catch Vicks...once he gets past Tuck and co you have the Jints Lb's who can't run..so Coughlin will put in some more db's...then play action occurs...and they do have a good wr in Jackson.....
enough....both teams are bad...giants are worse..and have the Chicago Bears in 4 days...jints have been out scored an amazing 69-7 in last 2 games....but think they will play tougher today because of pride,home field,etc...but it won't be enough...think Cruz and Wilson have good games...Eli cannot play any worse...both defense are bad...but only one offense is bad...Philly has enough to win out right....
Just got off the phone with my 4 buddies who are 3rd generation season ticket holders... there still bitching about what the Giants did to their seats..they moved them back,away from the over head and a worst angle...and paid big bucks more calling it an upgrade...one likes the Giants and the other 3 philly...but by game time after doing some cooking and drinking all 4 will be on the Giants...like all true blue fans..except if you have some monopoly money on them....the funny thing about todays game....the winner of this game with a dallas loss is 1 game out of 1st...that is how bad the east is..GL today..
