Navy -15 over Army ******
A few years ago I think I was at a Panero's when a few army people were eating next to me and we talked about the navy game...well last night I was at 5 Guys when 3 West Pointers were eating at the table next to me...of course I asked them what do you think about tomorrows game...they were funny....but they said.. " they have a qb and we don't"....another one said " we couldn't stop Air force and Navy is better then them..."......those two guys kinda summed up what I was going to post...but they did say Army was going to win"...think that was from their hearts....
But is it true... Schurr and Santiago are not very good...neither can throw the ball... Santiago can run it scoring 12 tds but his decision making is the worst...all season he has read the wrong plays...holding on to long or not pitching it..Monken the new coach had 3 guys who have rushed for over a 1,000 yds...but he switched his offense to that double slot back that doesn't work so well...Dixon,Baggett and Maples are talented...put them in Navy's back field ..OMG...
Navy has Reynolds...all time rushing qb with 60 td's or more...he can throw or run but he knows how to read the option...if Army wants to stop him watch 5'10 FB Copeland....strong and quick that looks like a bowling ball...they have slot backs that avg 8 yds a carry...and Navy can throw it where army is not a threat.
Navy plays that " bend but don't break" defense...
Navy will try to get outside on the run...Army will try to stop it..and when they do you will see a bowling ball look a like going up the middle...Navy scores on big plays... Stats will be even except when Navy scores on a 50 yd run or pass....Army can't do that...they will need to grind it out...and army will be playing from behind so they have to throw it which is there weakness......
Navy knows their better..they have won 12 in a row..both coaches know each and are friends...but two weeks ago there was a media conference in Baltimore...unbeknownst to Navy who was there Army didn't show up...they claimed Stewart Air base was fogged in that morning and they couldn't fly out...I guess they delayed the message to Navy because their coaches and team captains were sitting at the press table waiting...they did a teleconference with Army sitting at the Point.....when the conference was over Navy was pissed...coaches players, admirals and the AD...Navy AD went public and ESPN and took army to task...
As I was watching all this I thought..in two weeks when this game is played and Navy is up by 10-14 pts they are going to run another TD or two on the Cadets....regardless of the friendship of the two coaches.....and on my way to work everyday I have to drive through Stewart Airport behind all the old barracks of the air Force base...and there was no fog that day...

Navy wins by 3 tds or more..good luck..

Bryanz..took a per diem job here in NY as a Principal until June...miss the Austin weather..after spending the last 2 yrs in Texas my blood has thinned...didn't see a frost or snow in 2 yrs..now I'm frezzing my ass off...
Thank you Army...or navy..Army doesn't score a TD on offense...never gets the ball into the red zone all game..nearest was the Navy 28 yd line....navy then fumbles on the Army 20 with a few minutes to go...ahhh
