OK, I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed. But look at the names that Washington purged. Sergei Gonchar, Peter Bondra, Anson Carter, Robert Lang, Mike Grier, Michael Nylander, Jaromir Jagr in January.
The Hawks gave another determined effort at New Jersey on Thursday. A better goalie effort would have netted them points.
Chicago at least has a dangerous scoring line with Daze/Arnason/Ruutu. I have to take the value here.
