Since I just got from Vegas, I want to hear what you guys think about playing bj this way and whether or not you guys do this... I played it the whole weekend and was successful with it

I played a $10 min, 6 deck table, 3-2 bj payoff:

Started with $10 bet and if I lost I would double my bet, and if I win I started at $10 again. I would continue doubling until I won, and then go back to $10.

I played normal bj strategy other than this, including my double downs and splits. It seems this betting strategy makes you at least $10 everytime as long as you have the bankroll to continue the strategy. And hitting BJ's and double downs only increases that $. I never had to put up more than $320 on one hand, but I made sure I could if I needed to. So what does everyone think? Maybe I just happened not to get caught?

Sounds like a typical grind system. Sounds ok but you don't make a lot of money. you have to be disiplined and not hope for a bad streak that puts you out. I have one but it's kind of boring after a while.

You need a bankroll of infinity for it to work consistantly. It seems tempting to try in the short run every now and then, but it's mathematical suicide. $320 means your worst losing streak was only 5 - that's an absolute miracle if you played the whole weekend. You were very very lucky.

I have used this strategy for years and I have been asked to not play at casinos. The only way to lose and it is possible, is to lose more than eight hands in a row and you get past the table limit and then you are screwed. Where you get in trouble is doubling down.

Forget the blackjack !! How was your schedule at the clubs ??

Noticed you had all 3 nights planned out !!:00hour

Well Thursday night my buddy, who we went to see, hooked us up with the best table in Tao. His tab was pretty sick for us. He ended up bringing a couple other poker players out with us, but I had never heard of them. Didn't ask about Williams. Shawn Marion had the table next to us with his entourage, which was cool, shook his hand. One of the guys we were with tried to take his picture, but his body guard got pissed. Friday we spent the whole day at the pool running up a bar tab and hitting on the women, and by the end of the day the sun had taken it out on us. We slept till like 4am then woke up and gambled. Saturday went to Pure like planned but buddy was not with us so didn't get VIP. Not near as good to go out, I guess we got spoiled.

How has it fared for you so far? My buddies started doing it at the start of the trip and I was a little skeptical till I saw the money they were making. I waited till the last day and a half to do this, before I was just playing poker.

I found somewhere that the odds of losing 8 hands in a row is about 1 out of 173, but is variable with the length of the session you play in. I played this strategy as though it was a hit and run, I don't think I played an hour at any session I sat in on. How long do you play for?

like dunclock said, once you lose 7 or eight hands in a row, you can't double up anymore becasue you will eventually reach the max bet, and you can and will eventually lose that many in a row.
