This guy has had 4 great yrs. It's a team game, no help inside has made it tough. I'm not a big Syracuse fan,1rst time I have posted about them since the ND game. I just went against the public and you. I never brought up Gerry until you did. You seemed to give a shit about things I didn't until the game started. Take a deep breath and don't rush to so many judgments and you may learn something in here, that may save your ass.

i never quite understood the mcnamara hype. good player but his best moments were as a freshman and sophomore. 35% from the field and 32% from 3pt range leaves a lot to be desired imo especially as a senior. while the final shot will be the one replayed over and over tonight, he took a handful of ill-advised shots way too early in the shot clock when the cuse was up double digits and that gave cincy a chance to come back. i like the kid. he really lays it out there every single game. but i dont think calling him overrated is all that unfair.

Everyone with a basketball IQ loves the kid and he really lays it out there (every single time). If we could all get out of our-selfs what he has on the court, we would all be very special.

Overrated as a complete player -- I'd agree with that. But he played very well in the Final Four as a freshman, has hit countless game winners, and people remember the dramatics. He's not a superstar but is clutch.

thats what im saying. hes hit a lot of big shots. but so has matt sylvester for ohio state. not even remotely comparing the two (obviously) but i just think hes a player that can shoot you right IN ... and then shoot you right OUT of a game. he was big time against kansas though back a few yrs ago

Right, I think we are on the same page. Both are big streak shooters, but Mac had a chance to shine on the biggest stage.
