Eventually you'll figure out that going back and forth with this jerkoff is a monumental waste of time.

Look Otis the Drunk, everyone likes you here because you get drunk at the Madjack outings, good for you, stay out of the thread if you have to resort to name calling.

TIA.

So now you're "offended" by name calling?

Be careful Kosar. His next move is to ask Jack to ban you. :mj07:

So why did 9/11 occur?

Because muslim fanatics seeking influence and power brain washed some stupid f*cks. Then sent them after a target that they believed striking would would project their power and further their own agenda.

Why were we attacked on 12/7/41?

Why were we hit on 12/7/41? I'd like to here why you think that happened?

If you can't spell or use proper English why don't you use spell check?

Two different situtations. No doubt it was not blowback for Pearl Harbor.

Current day terrorism is payback due to our involvement all over the world. We have almost 750 bases around the world. Its fucking crazy. Plus we can't afford it anymore.

Sorry for butting in Tramp. I know Flapjack's entitled to his opinion, but his explanation is too simplistic and convenient and it completely rejects blowback as the reason for the 9/11 attack.

As for why we were attacked on Dec. 7th, 1941, there are several reasons; however, Japanese imperialism was the root cause (which the US & British embargo were in response to). Japan also knew the only obstacle to their continued expansion in the Pacific was the U.S. Pacific Fleet at Pearl Harbor.

I don't really see a correlation between 9/11 and the "Day in Infamy" though. Maybe Flapjack will enlighten us.

The point is simple. It could be argued by that kooks line of reasoning in the first clip that 12/7/41 was also "blow back" for our foreign policy. Do you agree or disagree?

Its a pretty simple straight forward questions I've asked and gotten no response. What caused and who's really to blame for Pearl Harbor and do you agree that it was in some sense our fault we were attacked?

We forced Japan to act. It was our embargo that caused them to attack us. They had no desire what so ever to invade and occupy the US. We forced their hand by cutting off their oil amongst other things. If we would have just kept to ourselves, they never would have attacked. So, how dare the US government act suprised when we got attacked. Our imperialist desire to force our will on other parts of the globe and brought this blowback upon ourselves. If you buy the reasoning of these clips, you must buy this rational.

Maybe the grammar cop can also enlighten me to what exactly a "Situtations" is? :mj07:

I find small people with small minds tend to focus on small issues like spelling and grammar. Agree or disagree? Please discuss.

I will agree with you. Different type of Blowback but its valid. Besides we wanted them to attack us to gain public approval for the war. Which many believe Bush/Cheney acted took the same action.

Getting back to the point. Pearl Harbor has nothing to do with the middle east. We have been sticking our noses all over the world. Its payback time. Its a very clear concept. Its just time to get out while we still can.

MASSIVE difference, grammar cop. What makes me laugh is when idiots who can't spell spend time making a post about others who use incorrect grammar and then fail to use correct grammar in correcting them. :mj07:
