Every time I see the Blue Angles It gets your blood running good. This is second time in 4 years they paid our air show a visit. We have this show every year on Fathers Day or the week following.
For a smaller town we feal very lucky to have them come. They do 46 apperance each year. And have over 200 air show to choose from. We also had a couple F-15, A-10 warthog and a special rigged C130 that takes off with special bottle boost. Dam thing goes streight up when takeing off. Helicopter rides. Great music and danceing in two differant hangers for old and young alike.
But the Angles shows are the hi lite, They will do it again tomorrow at 2pm. Have a hunch i'll go watch again. And for a up north town. Talk about super barbecue ribs. Dam thought I was in Memphis. Any you folks seen the Angles up close?

Last weekend I took my daughter to an airshow at Whiteman AFB where most of the Stealth Bombers are located. They had the Thunderbirds there and they were unbelievable. Some of the things they do when flying so close together will pucker your a$$ just watching and I can"t imagine what it would be like being the pilot. They also had the refueling planes, AWACS, Warthogs, jet cars, stealth fighters and bombers and several fly-byes from various fighter jets. I think I enjoyed it more than my daughter did but she thougth it was cool to go through all the planes. I will definetely be going back next year.
