BOSTON RED SOX -130 - The Red Sox are on fire right now, having won 6 straight games on this homestand. They are averaging a whopping 6.59 runs per game this season, which so far has more than compensated for what has been a weak bullpen. The pen has improved somewhat over the last few games, however, as Boston?s team home ERA is now down to 3.29. Fossum has had 2 Quality Starts out of 3 starts this season, and he allowed just 1 run and 6 hits in 7 innings in his last start. Granted, his only start where he did not record a QS came in Toronto vs. these Jays, but Fossum handled the Jays well at Fenway last season, allowing 1 run and 3 hits in 6 innings, so I look for him to make the proper adjustments. Halladay has hardly resembled last year?s All-Star to this point. He has a 4.44 ERA with a very high WHIP of 1.52, and he has allowed at least 4 runs in 3 of his 4 starts. The last time he pitched here in Boston, he was lit up for 6 earned runs and 10 Men on Base in only 5 innings last September.
