Coming into this series, the Jays are 6-7 vs the Rays and about to go 6-8.

Their history vs the Tampas in over a decade is unreal. Never, ever bet on the Jays vs the Rays, esp in TB.

I should really dig up the nightmare that has been their record vs Tampa over more than 10 years.

No one knows why, just never ever bet them vs the Rays, esp in TB.

Of course the Blue Jays do have a losing record this year against teams under .500 and a winning record over team who are over .500 so maybe be aware of this in your betting strategy. :0008

I'll keep lookking into this, if you like. It's a little interesting.

Forgive me for prolonging this thread, but there are a few things to add for tonight's game.

Estrada is reunited with Navarro as his catcher. They were very in sync last year and he seems to be more unpredictable than with Russ Martin. Jays now have 3 catchers, since Thole was resigned to catch Dickey after clearing waivers. Martin will get a rest tonight, but will still be pinch hitting.

Another point...since the All Star Break, Tampa has the 3rd best run differential in the Majors, after the Cubs and Red Sox. They are not just a team in last place with a Blue Jays jinx.

Just an FYI...

Also, Rays hit a lot of homeruns...I think 169 this season...42 in month of August, most in AL so beware.
