Bham, Al
I WOULD NOT SEE ANY "FLOOR MOPPING" WITH THE AFOREMENTIONED TEAMS, BUT i AGREE THAT SC'S D IS STOUT. I ALSO THINK THAT JUMPING A TEAM THAY WHUPPED YOU A FEW SHORT WEEKS AGO IS BULLSH*T.

GIVE ME FLA V. TX AND OU V. USC IN A PLAYOFF.

AND YES, I'M LEAVING OUT UTAH...

I'd like to see them start with 8 teams and then expand it to 12. I think giving higher ranked teams a bye as well as letting them play first round game at home keeps the regular season very meaningful but also gives everyone a shot to win it all.

I also really hope that OSU beats OK...

Its funny that if a few things happen...USC could play Texas for the national title without either winning their respective conference. Although I use the term "respect"ive very loosely when talking about the Pac-10 ;)

Under a mask.
Include the top 24? Hell no...

Put an 8 team playoff system together, top 2 teams get byes. Keep the games as bowl names and games and money is paid.

Bucs I realize ,a top 24 is not gonna happen.
Not enough time.Top 8 is odv. more workable.
Im just saying a team out of the top 8,could make some noise, but you would never know cause they would be left out.

Ohio but not a Buckeye
I think this whole BCS could be summed up the way Mac Brown said it about the BIG 12 title game..."A really good football team is going to be left out of the BIG 12 Championship."- Well...the same goes here for the title game, because not only 1, but several will be. This is the first year in a long time where I cannot distinctively say that just 2 and maybe 3 teams are legitimate contenders and could win the title. There are quite frankly 4or5 that could, and a couple undefeated teams who ATLEAST deserve to have a CHANCE(playoff system).

WHY DO THEY KEEP SAYING TEXAS NEEDS OU TO WIN???? HUH.
I understand that if OU wins and looks average in doing it then maybe Texas gets the votes in the polls to pass OU and stay in front of them, but what about this scenario:
If OKST wins then that puts TT into the Big 12 title game(does anyone really think TT is going to pass USC,Texas,PSU by beating Baylor and Mizzou).
Texas would be an at large bid in the title game over TT.
The only issue would be if Oregon beats Ore St making USC the Pac10 champ then after pounding ND and UCLA they pass Texas(which I could get since they won the conference).
Why would USC(non conference champ,), PSU(team that has no games left to move up), o TT(who is just too far back) pass Texas.

I still think Texas is best off having OKST win.
Maybe its just me???

Also, I could NEVER bring myself to cheer for OU.

Have a tough enough time doing it when I bet on them.

I agree. I think Texas wants Oklahoma to lose. You don't want to give up a chance at the conference title, which is big, but you have no control over that now.

Best scenario for TX is that Okla loses and then TX Tech loses in conf title, although like you said, I don't think it matters. I think it SHOULD matter, but it won't.

There are a lot of scenarios, but if you have a couple upsets, like ALA or FLA losing and TX Tech wins the conf...they might leap frog someone like USC who may not even win the crappy pac-10

It is interesting but at the end of the day its garbage. We know the best 8 teams, put them on the field...
