Boiler, Jack, Indiana Guys??

Myself and three buddies are leaving Friday morning for West Lafayette, IN for the Spartan/Boilermaker game on Saturday (It's just an excuse for the four of us to get together for a weekend, and we try to visit a different college town each year.....)......We expect to be in Lafayette late afternoon Friday, and none of us have a clue what goes on around there??
Anybody have any "hot tips" for tailgates, watering holes, etc??

Sorry sharky... I've been there for purdue/ indiana games but i was an IU fan back in those days...

I worked up there a lot in the past, to be honest, don't really know the local bars very well. But I have ate at arni's restaurant several times, local restaurant up there and very good. As far as drinking holes, u will find any national restaurant chain u want on State Road 26. Don Pablos, Texas Roadhouse, Applebees, and etc. Arnis is pretty close to purdue in w lafayette.

Sharky, sorry I'm so late getting back to you. Sargebt Prestons in W.Lafayette is a good bar with good eats. Also down by the University is Harry's Chocolate Shop. I don't think you can go wrong with either of these. As for the friday nightlife scene, I have no clue. Lot's of tailgating outside the stadium before the game. Hope you and your buds have a good time. Wish I was going to be there so we could hook up for a Budweiser.
