you mentioned in a thread that you tore your rotator cuff. i have had some kind of shoulder injury for a few years now that used to pain me at night whenever i slept on it. the pain has resided since then but now my shoulder has almost lost all of it's muscle and it looks as if i have never worked out in my life. it's crazy looking.

anyway, i haven't had any insurance so i have been waiting to get it checked out and thought maybe it could be a torn rotator cuff such as yours. this injury happened while working out in 1999. i almost have no doubt that it will need surgery to repair simply because i have tried working out sveral times and it has no strength and never gets any bigger or stronger.

does this sound like the same case of injury you endured? i appreciate your comments.

Monk, this sounds very familiar. I have had both sides done and both had the same characteristics. Waking up several times a night. Can't sleep on that side. Trouble lifting above head. Sometimes if the tear is slight it can repair itself. This wasn't the case with either of mine. The left side was much more severe. My bicep muscle became unattached and had slid down to my elbow area. Took 13 months of rehab. They are telling me this one will only take 4-5 months rehab. Hope it turns out for you.
