Plenty of rumors about possible trades, but that's all they are......rumors. Lowell and Alomar were 2 of the names, but they're now off the market. Then Giles, but he's got a hefty contract which will send LA over the luxury tax threshold, even if they trade Shuey or Quantrill. They have no real talent in the minors that people want, and most teams are only interested in trading for Quillermo Mota, but they'd be stupid to trade this young stud away. Rondell White and Reggie Sanders were also mentioned, but I don't see how either one can make a difference to the LA lineup. I can't remember the last time LA made a meaningful trade prior to the trading deadline, so I'm not holding my breath.
