I'm sure everyone will be backing Boise State in this spot. They have an excellent rush defense so far and they are 54-2 their last 56 WAC Games plus beat Fresno 61-10 last season:scared Boise has also covered 6 of their last 7 games vs. Fresno. Boise is giving up just 4 PPG, but both games were played on the friendly smurf turf.

I'm not putting a lot of mojo in Boise beating an awful Miami, Ohio team that would have a difficult time making the Ohio High School State playoffs. However, Boise is extremely well coached and they should be able to keep Fresno's power running game in check.

Have yet to pick a side, but interested in hearing other's thoughts. The obvious pick is Boise, but we all know the obvious doesn't always win. Fresno also showed me they can put points on the board last week and my question is whether they can put points on the board vs. Boise:shrug:

Boise D did impress me vs Oregon. They will come to play solid D that's for sure. First road test though in a pretty tough environment...I'm passing this one. Lean with Boise if I had to choose. That OT loss for Fresno last week might have burst their bubble for this week or they could come out more focused... Pat Hill great coach...hands down!

We all know how the Thursday/Friday mid week "home dogs" love to bark....Past few years have been $$$ for home dogs during the week on these ESPN games.

Very true about the home dog factor, but does anyone recall that great home dog Tulane vs. BYU two weeks ago on Friday night? I do know Toledo was a lethal dog the previous Friday, but these Bulldogs look a little ill after a tough loss last Saturday.

I also read where Fresno is just awful ATS coming off a tough loss in recent years. Fresno is also just 10-27 ATS their previous 37 lined games:scared

Boise State -6.5 (-120) for 5*
Boise State 1st half -4 for 2*

I could see this game being very close early as Fresno will want revenge and Boise is a young team playing their first road game. However, this might be the most difficult remaining game for Boise and I can't forget the fact they're 54-2 SU in their last 56 WAC Games plus have owned Fresno in recent years.

If Fresno loses by 2 TD's to Wisky, this number is 11 to 13 IMO. However, they should have won so this number is lower than I expected.

I'm Joe Public Friday, hey even Joe Public wins sometimes otherwise we could all just bet the opposite of the obvious. Joe Public will piss away his money on Saturday and Sunday.

Boise 34 Fresno 20

Boise wants to shut everyone up about the BCS so if they go undefeated they have a shot. This being there first road game makes it even more convincing they belong in the BCS. I know I am looking a long way a way but they are not. They want ESPN and every newspaper talking about them, but the main thing is Gameday will talk about they defense and offense if they shut out fresno at home and put up large 30 or 35 point win. Only my opinion what is yours D. GL this year.

Here's my post from another thread......I really like Fresno St.

Here's the deal. Fresno State has been pissed off all week. They should have beat Wisconsin and they know that. They have been getting after it all this week in practice and Pat Hill will most assuredly have them ready to play. I'm still not convinced that this is the same Boise St team of the last few years. I think they beat two very mediocre teams at home on their blue turf.....I don't think that they are all that they are hyped up to be, especially against a very tough and hardnosed football team on the road.

Fresno State, at home on Friday Night, on ESPN and getting 7.5 points???? I'm not sure I can resist that offer. I've actually got this game capped out to Fresno State winning by 4, so I will gladly take the extra TD.

FRESNO ST +7.5

I'll be the first to admit I'm shocked Teemo was against me as you normally like chalk. Glad to have a Friday night winner & shocked so many liked Fresno. Sure the game could have gone either way, but I thought Fresno was outclassed. Glad to have a public winner. Going to get after tomorrow's games for a few minutes right now.
