LA Tech has only 3 wins this year and are still in this game. They have wins against New Mexico, Hawaii, some other CC.
Other than playing Oregon, there is schedule is downright laughable and I don't think they deserve any consideration for nat'l title.
At the same time, I see no difference in 1-pt wins and blowouts. A team plays a game to win the game and that is the only thing that matters.
Its not the players fault that they play such a weak schedule but its also not fair that they play 11 weak teams and want an invite to the title game over 118 other teams.
