Hey guys,

For Thursday i really like Boise State in this spot...they have really turned it on lately and they have won 31 straight WAC conference games - a very impressive mark - question is can they get their 32nd in a row against this tough 20th ranked Fresno State team? Public consensus is giving Boise zero chance to win this game - i love the value in this play...Boise moneyline +335? You gotta be kidding me! That is worth a shot every day of the week! Boise has repeatedly beaten Fresno...now don't get me wrong Fresno has a great team...but Boise is capable of winning this outright...I'll take the points, and I've also played the moneyline in this one...had to lock in now because i will be gone until after kickoff tomorrow...good luck if you play it - Boise is a team i follow closely and usually have a good handle betting for or against - this week play on Boise! Hope they go into Fresno and win outright...i won't be surprised if they do...I've had this game circled all year and love getting the 9 points in this one...have this one figured to be close until the end...

THE PLAYS:

Boise +9 +105 juice
Risking $1,000 to win $1,050

Boise +335 moneyline
Risking $300 to win $1,005

Good luck, enjoy the game and go BOISE!

Broncos Win

Broncos Win

 ..Obviously since this is a first post I have not credibility butt...

Boise St. wins in a close one. I live in Fresno and have an inside contact to the program. This is the biggest game for Fresno St in years. They are still distraught over the Oregon game and have secret ambitions to beat SC.

Popular belief is no way they look past this one to win the WAC... It will happen. A win in Hawaii was cause for celebration with the tradition water shower for coach Hill. You would have thought they won the WAC on that game.

Due to the start time 5:00 PM, the stadium will not be filled until after the first quarter. 1140 is begging the locals to leave work early to support the home team. Coach Hill already let the Broncos dictate the start and they will dictate the pace of the game.

Boise St. jumps on them early and wins a close one 37-34. 9 points is too much to give.

Believe it or not. The 5:00 start time has to do with flights out of Fresno. This game was originally scheduled to be played on Friday. Veteran's day caused the reschedule not ESPN.

Burger boy, learn how to spell before you choose to criticize. Just passing on the facts.

Like I said, I have not earned any credibility. Let the outcome speak for the statement

Did you just call me burger boy??
I'm not saying you are wrong (well I guess I did)
Its 2 in the morning here and my finger slipped.
Chill out If spelling was a prerequisite for gambling those freaking mensas' from the spelling bee contests would be running Vegas.
Also, If I had a dollar for every inside info tip I have lost on I would be eating Filet mignon instead of a Whopper from 1976
But you seemed adament about this Boise play so I looked a little deeper
At the start of the season Boise was +6 AT GEORGIA
Now they are grabbing 9 in Fresno???
Is Fresno 3 points better than Georgia??
Also, Boise has a better power rating than Fresno according to a magazine I get
Further, the record of teams Fresno has played is almost 20 games under 500 as compared to a much tougher schedule for Boise.
Maybe grabbing the 9 might not be such a bad idea...
I hope you can forgive me for such a gaffaw as misspelling a word pluthster...
As for your credibility I just hope your right on this one

why are you comparing fresno to georgia in week 1. they have nothing to do with each other. georgia has over achieved this year and a lot of people thought boise would "shock" georgia in the 1st game. saying well this team was +6 vs this team and now is +9 vs another team is absurd.

Here are past 4 matchups and results

2001 Boise State 35 Fresno State 30 (at Fresno)
2002 Boise State 67 Fresno State 21 (at Boise)
2003 Boise State 31 Fresno State 17 (at Fresno)
2004 Boise State 33 Fresno State 16 (at Boise)
2005 ???

After dropping their first 2 games Boise has gone on to win the next 7 games - and the last 3 they have won by 34, 35, and 50 points?once again avg. an impressive 37.3 pts. On the year and they started slow...QB zambransky playing like he was last year...boise is 5-0 in the WAC this year

Now this is what is impressive - Boise has won 31 consecutive WAC conference games - going for 32 tonight...now tonight they go on the road to fresno - a very tough place to play - but they have won last 2 visits there and have owned fresno?fresno has never won the WAC outright (they tied for it before)

While Boise is 8th in coutnry in scoring, fresno is 5th avg, an impressive 41 points a game...they are ranked #20 in the country - however realize in the past when boise has played them & beat them past few years they have been ranked higher than this - remember David Carr played for Fresno and he had some tremendous years and put Fresno on the map

I will ride Boise until fresno proves they can beat boise?Boise has always been able to score almost at will vs. Fresno?no doubt this matchup should be a good one?also Fresno has USC on tap next week - now while most say this Boise game is the most meaningful, I'm sure there are a few looking ahead thinking they have a chance to beat USC the #1 team?they can't take boise lightly here?psychologically though I've read many interviews w/ the fresno players and many keep saying boise has dominated them - you know that's gotta be in their heads...

For tonight the line came out Fresno -7, and rose to -7.5, -8, -8.5 and currently at -9 - I locked in at -9 last night...also took the +335 moneyline - I mean +335 - 3.35 to 1 odds - I'll take that all day w/ this Boise team?Boise has the mentality to always run up the score?also, many times I've seen this team down 21 only to come back and win the game?they run the ball extremely well - 219 yds per game 15th in country - offense 22nd overall in country, Fresno's is 44th?Pinegar very impressive QB for Fresno, but Zambransky can pass and also very effective running?

Anyways - public is pounding Fresno - I strongly believe 9 is too many points tonight?can't argue w/ Boise's 4 straight conference championships, 4 straight wins over fresno, and 31 straight conference games?they just win when things are on the line?I was tempted to only play the moneyline and forgo any points?I do respect Fresno and sure this team has the ability to blow out anybody, as does Boise

I'm sure this game will come down to turnovers - which I always say are just impossible to handicap?win or lose, I believe there is line value in boise, and that is what I look for - line value - gained some extra points due to public influence as well?I was expecting line to come out around Fresno -4 due to the fact the public will play fresno - liked it at 7, love it at 9?who knows where it will move next?just thought I'd pass this info along and my perspective?of course Boise's streak will have to end sometime?but at these odds and spread, it is a good spot to take the 4 time defending conference champ?especially w/ Boise playing best FB of the year they are peaking at a good time?boise somehow finds a way to shut the fresno offense down a little?can't wait to see this game- I've had it circled on my calendar (as have all the fresno/boise players - they knew this would be for the conference championship) since first week of season?good luck if you choose to play it?both teams should be up for it - if fresno wins it will be huge because they have never won the conference champ outright?I'll ride this streak for boise though - especially as a big dog until it breaks...

I think i'm in the minority feeling that Boise wins this game - and i love being in the minority...

GL guys...go BOISE!

Are you related to Scott4USC?

Are you Scott4USC?

Just kiddin' :)

I agree with your general take on the game. I just think that the game will still be up for grabs in the 4th...and Boise will find a way to win it with the Zman and the Zen Master - HC Hawkins. :mj14:
