It's still early but first quarter Boise looked well oiled.

here we go again with this talk of Bosie being Nat. Champs, let them play some real teams other than this first game. If they played Ohio St. Texas, Oklahoma and won a game maybe they would be in the running. Smurf Turf and trick plays I do not think so.

look, here's the deal with boise (and utah a few years ago)
there's no doubt in my mind they can compete and likely beat almost any team on a neutral field (if they play well)
HOWEVER
there is also no doubt in my mind that if they play a sec big 10 big 12-pac 10 schedule they WONT go undefeated
this is a similar game for most pac-10 teams ooc schedule....play a tough bcs opponent on the road....but then they would get 9 pac-10 games with some extremely TOUGH road games and there's no way they survive undefeated (heck. sc only went thru the conf undefeated ONE TIME during their run and they had 15-20 1st round picks on each team, while boise may have 1...maybe)
i'd love to see boise in a playoff, but unless everyone else folds this year i have a hard time putting them in the title game ahead of a 1 loss bcs team who lost to another power team.

As for Utah they cancelled a game in Austin v Texas so they got what they deserved.

When they paly a tuff conference schedule like Alabama, ohio sate, etc. every week -week in and week out let me know. They have to get up for maybe 2 games a year?
THIS IS ANOTHER SLAP IN THE FACE OF UTAH FANS TOO... BOISE ST gets ranked #3.... FOR WHAT?>?? Utah has played these "so called great teams from the SEC" in bowl games and slapped em silly, and then played an won out down in AZ 5 yrs back and WE STILL WERENT EVEN PUT IN TOP 25... TIL we went and beat a so called #15 PITT?>??? WHO CAME UP WITH THE TOP 25???? RU KIDDING ME???
I think this years pre game top 25 was the MOST FUCKED UP BASSACKWARDS TOP 25 EVER... Boise #3, Utah NON RANKED, AND THE TOP 10 IMO IS NOT IN THE RIGHT ORDER AT ALL!@!!
Hey, I'm not trying to say Boise is the best team. I'm not even saying they deserve it. What I am saying is that from a gambling perspective they may well be a one team win "wonder" and cruise tot he NAtional Championship game.
The point to this was how to profit the easiest and make money.
I liked my chanced in May and I like them now. Are they in the SEC? No. Do they deserve it at this point? No. But when the pieces fall, this may well be a great bet.
And that's all it is. $100 bet that says Boise wins the NAtional Championship KNOWING ALL the factors prior to the season.
Life isn't fair. But that's life.

I think it is so different being in the SEC, B10 etc you take so much more of a physical pounding each week and having to get up for more hant 1 game a year--takes its toll.
