Sorry Elmer you're 100% incorrect. Bonds has done an incredible job with the hitters. Keep on hating because if thats the case HATE ON all the top 20 hitters in Bonds years = MOST ALL CHEATED.
Your correct, you said Stanton, but if you played the game you may understand at the time Bonds decided to go that route, it was said that between 80-90% of the players were using one form or another. So I see it as he was one of the very best in the game before he started and maybe the very best when he was using. No doubt Barry Bonds deserves Hall of Fame. He was one of the very few who was a HOF already before he got big. I remember him when he came up with the Pirates at 149 pounds!

I don't have a side to this claim but what's ironic is Barry's biggest strength as a hitter in my opinion appears to be Stanton's biggest weakness.......pitch recognition.

AGREE ! I sit 10 rows from the batters box and wonder what the kid is thinking and seeing !
anyone who used illegal drugs in baseball should be banned from all records and the HOF..they not only built their records up but harmed the players that refused to cheat..so actually him and his ilk are puke personified..oh by the way the marlins not a very good team and their hitting is awful..
