LW David Booth and G Tomas Vokoun both participated in the morning skate and will play tonight against the Islanders.
Vokoun will start in goal, coach Pete DeBoer said. Booth has missed the past two games because of the flu and Vokoun sat out Tuesday's game in Toronto for the same reason.
In Booth's case, it was more than your average flu, he said. Booth said it was the "most pain I've ever been in" and that he felt "pretty miserable." Anyhow, he skated for an hour yesterday after the team returned home and said he feels pretty good and he feels he has his speed. His only concern, he said, is endurance because he's been out several days, but he plans on keeping his shifts short.
