If you have the game total under, there is an 18 pt middle with the over in the:00hour 2nd half

I see 43-39 halftime. Game total was 189. Halftime line of PK / o/u 94

That's a decent size middle, but not 18 points.

Am I missing something?

Yeah, my brain............Game total was 189, I had in my mind the 1st half total of 94- and added the 100 to it.

Damn I'm dumb sometimes.

Nice catch Vicious. Sure makes my middle wager a bit more interesting now doesn't it....

Just a point to be made here. Why throw away a winner with a second wager that is 50/50? Unless you think the second wager has a positive expectation on its own?

First off, I only played it for 1/3 of the original wager, plus I was watching the game and it seemed like things were progressively picking up so I like the 2nd half opportunity. They really picked up the pace in the 3rd quarter, so much so that I was then fearful of losing the original bet.........4th qtr changed all of that as nobody coul dmake a bucket and the original wager comes through. I also had the 1st half under which was already a winner at that point. It's Sunday, the last day of my week for settling, so I just wanted to make sure I took something home.

Thanks for your input. Anytime somebody has differing views to share I am appreciative.

Enjoy your Sunday.

As long as you think the second bet has a positive expectation as a stand alone wager, there is nothing wrong with it. Otherwise it is just throwing money away. We all have our own way to gamble though. I used to do that all the time years ago.
