Well if they are patient, they can climb back slowly and get a few runs at a time. Zito isnt pitching that great., even though he has alowwed 0 hits

if i didnt know better, id have thought grady little was responsible for the national debt, the 9/11 attacks, all lives lost due to cancer, the summer power outage, etc.
he can't go out there and pitch, nor can he go out there and hit. what's he doing wrong? blame the players for lack of plate discipline, lack of pitch location, and lack of fielding prowess.

My Babe Ruth coach used to tell us to take pitches when we were down...Make the pitcher work, get to the bullpen...shake things up, drop a bunt to move a runner with no outs...etc
Manny should be a DH. He dogs it everywhere. Did yo see him watch the ball he just hit? If Guillen would have missed it he would have ended up with a single...He's o-fer in the series. Bench his ass and wake him up...

How does this happen, last night I take over Atl/Chi and there are what 20 or some hits in the game, only 8 runs, today I take the under and there are 6 runs on 5 damn hits!!!

im not even going to bother with the issue of whether i played ball. lets just say i put more than my share of time into the game.
i never said the stategy is wrong. in fact, i agree with it. just think its a little ridiculous the way many call for a managers head when the players make mistakes on their own.
managers put their players and team in positions to win. little did that yesterday. his team choked. not littles fault.
nor is it littles fault when middle of the order hitters are first-pitch-swinging. or standing at home plate watching their swing.

I have never said a bad word about Little up to this point, and I see what you're saying about him not being able to get out there and play etc.
I'm just playing armchair manager here and wondering why he is making the decisions he is...taking timlin out last night, then not letting your closer close the whole game, even with the lefty/lefty match-up I believe BK had a better BA against than Embree who lefties have a higher BA against than righties...plus it gives your closer the feeling you don't believe in him and he already is fragile in that dept...
alot of things in a small amount of time...just wondering why???
