back and refreshed with a few good nights' sleep after a hard holiday of travel and parties. i swear if i'd known i was going to live this long i'd taken better care of myself. her's my take on the pack game today, i'll add other games here as i have a chance.

over 145-: getting a little edge with this number that is probably perceived by most to be on the high side of wolfpack home totals. dudley returns for bc, and atsur, who has practiced this week at full speed, likely returns for some significant minutes today barring some last minute setback with his hammy. tough matchups inside for state, but the wolfpack big men get up and down the court better than bc, so with atsur back sidney will probably let them go. as far as i cn tell, bc never resists picking up the pace on the road.

it also seems like every time NC state is down at the end of tha game they start fouling...even down 10 with 20 seconds left........but I guess that Sidney for you. I tell you NC state should of never let Sendek go..on the football side they did get an excellent coach..

yeah, i liked herb a lot also, but the bottom line was his style of coaching is an impediment to landing enough top talent to take the wolfpack back to the top level. in these days where top frontcourt talent may stay for two years at most, nba scounts want to know how they look getting up and down the court, not how they look in sendek's modified princeton offense. given time, i think sidney may surprise you.

austin peay -3: i'll go ahead and bite on this sucker line before it gets too out of hand. huge disparity in talent level between these two teams, especially based upon recent play. line is probably held down by tough road scheduling going from jacksonville, ala. to charleston, ill. but govs got to stop over at home to sleep in their own beds and even work in a practice.

evansville -1- and under 129-: getting in now as total has already dropped a couple of points. as i see it, if creighton doesn't reach 65 i can't lose both. bluejays haven't come close to this number in four road game and average 56 ppg away from omaha. evansville a veteran team with a very strong home court that allow an average of 56 ppg at home. creghton is in a bad spot to cure their road woes in their second road game in indiana in three days.
